Lynn Scott

Lynn is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the ICF and has been coaching senior managers, executives and top teams for more than ten years following an international career in the travel industry which included management roles in Europe, USA and North Africa.  She was the first female Head of Operations for Airtours PLC (now Thomas Cook) with overall responsibility for overseas destinations that included Australia and Thailand.

Lynn has also been supervising external and internal coaches since 2007 and supervising supervisors for BCG.

She currently serves on the UK International Coach Federation (ICF) Board as Director of Professional Development.

Lynn works across sectors and has clients in a variety of industries including Retail, Finance, Manufacturing, NHS, local government, Police, The Arts, Media and The Nuclear industry – these are often ‘technical experts’ who need to develop leadership capability.

Her strong, operational background working with people from different cultures in a fast moving and ever changing  environment, combined with her advanced level coaching skills means that Lynn has a ‘can do’ approach to developing others which is infectious.  She has a successful track record helping leaders to adapt and change their leadership styles when things aren’t working whilst helping them to draw on and use their strengths more often.  She also excels in helping leaders to develop their confidence, self-belief and impact.   

Coaching Experience and Qualifications - Lynn holds a Certificate in the Supervision of Coaches, Mentors and Consultants from Bath Consultancy Group; she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology and an Advanced Professional Diploma in Executive Coaching from Leeds Metropolitan University. She is accredited to use the Hay Group’s ESCI 360 degree feedback tool on emotional intelligence and is also one of the few UK coaches accredited in GEI’s Team Emotional Intelligence Survey.
