Directions
to BCG
If you are coming down the M5 it looks simplest
to take M5/M4 junction on to the M4 (junction 15 on the M5).
Come off the M4 at junction 18 , following A46
to Bath. At the end of this road turn right on to the
London Road. Follow this road straight over various
traffic lights and then over a mini-round about. You will
then reach the traffic lights before George Street.
Follow George Street round into Queens Square, all around
the square to the Charlotte Street car park.
Directions to Barrow Castle
Directions via the M3, A303. Turn right
at Stonehenge, through Chitterne, (following the signs to
Warminster). Take the bypass around Warminster, then
through Norton St Phillip, Hinton Charterhouse and Midford.
At the top of this hill you come to the Glasshouse Garage
on your left. Turn left here at the double mini roundabout.
Go straight across the next roundabout, then straight on through
the traffic lights. About a quarter of a mile down the
hill you will see the Rose and Laurel pub on your left, just
past here you will see Culverhay School, also on the left.
Immediately before the school (and just past the row of houses)
there is a turning to your left, this is the entrance to Barrow
Castle. Go through the blue gates and up the drive.
Drive in through the second set of gates.
