Dr. Peter Hawkins, founder and Chairman of Bath Consultancy
Group, is a leading consultant, writer and researcher in organisational
learning, managing complex change and development of organisational
culture. He has worked with many leading companies in Britain,
Europe and South Africa, co-designing and facilitating major
change and organisational transformation projects. He has been
a keynote speaker at a number of international conferences
on the learning organisation and teaches at a number of business
schools.
Peter Hawkins has consulted
to a number of leading financial, manufacturing and service
organisations including 3i, British Aerospace, BBC and PricewaterhouseCoopers
as well as leading companies throughout Europe. He has helped
a number of senior executive teams develop their vision,
values and strategy for the future, both in commercial companies,
higher education and large professional organisations.

has over 15 years experience with PwC and as a Partner at KPMG
Consulting of identifying, proposing and managing change to
deliver value. He understands the complexity of implementing
major changes in large organisations and have experience of
integrating the positive and negative forces to deliver results.
His main focus when facilitating director-level
teams is to develop successful strategies to transform, re-engineer
or integrate processes within and between organisations for

budgeting processes across the MOD with the Treasury, MoD
civil servants and the Military.

across the European General Insurance industry including
use of B2B eCommerce technology to facilitate new ways

and business plan for two financial marketplaces one in
Saudi Arabia and the other across the Gulf states, including:-

- representing the consortium
to the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority to maintain
national and regulatory support

vendors to provide technology designs and costings.

Cullum Graduating with an M.A. Honours degree from St. Andrews
University, John Cullum spent over 30 years in the motor industry
including a 2-year assignment in Detroit and as Finance Director
of Ford Credit. He joined PHH's European Headquarters in Swindon
in 1982 and took early retirement last year from the role of
President and Chief Executive assumed in 1996. John is currently
Chairman of Fuel Force Holdings Ltd. and serves as Non Executive
Director on the Boards of Bath Management Group Ltd and Swindon
FM Ltd. In the public/private sector world, he is Chairman of
both The New Swindon Company Ltd and Wiltshire and Swindon Economic
Partnership; he is also a member of the CBI South West Regional
Council.

Nick Smith

Nick
began his career in the construction industry. After studying for
an MSc at the London School of Economics, he worked as a manager,
and management developer for a number of years in the Public Sector.
He has also been a Director of Administration and Organisational
Development with a new campaigning organisation looking for improvement
in the built environment. Within his current portfolio, he is working
with organisations across private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
The current focus of his work is in helping senior management and
Boards develop their organisation's capacity to learn. He is also
helping these organisations to further develop their strategic thinking
and learning, and helping them make culture changes that will sustain
such activity.
In the last year Nick's private sector clients have come
from the Insurance, Retail, IT and Oil sectors. In the public and not-for-profit
sectors, his clients have included local authorities, universities,
social housing companies, national advisory groups and NTO's.
Nick is also part of a group of consultants within BCG,
that is developing and implementing a 'whole systems' approach to the
management of complex inter-organisational projects such as urban regeneration
and regional economic development. His current portfolio includes culture
change work with large private sector organisations in the aftermath
of acquisitions and mergers, and senior management team work where
communication is breaking down. He is a qualified systems psychotherapist
and registered Myers Briggs practitioner, as well as being a senior
associate of the Institute of Management.

Fiona Ellis

Fiona
is a Director of Bath Consultancy Group and she leads work on developing
internal change capability within organisations, and working with internal
functions eg HR, IT, Finance. She is interested in working closely
with and supporting internal consultants, drawing on her background
as an HR internal consultant within the private sector for ten years.
Her consulting experience across private, and public sector includes
working with culture change, whole systems transformation, HR development
,action learning, leadership and team development.
She has worked internationally for clients in the financial
sector, health, oil industry, television, education, telecomms, and
food and drink industry. Clients have included Shell, BBC, Worldcom,3663,
Nokia, GSK, Citibank and ABN Amro, She is currently leading the HR
Strategic Partners programme with senior HR Business Partners in Nokia.
She has an MSc in Change Agents: Skills and Strategies
at Surrey University and has undertaken research into best practice
in executive development with international companies for the BBC.
She has been a Non Executive director in an NHS Trust.

clients includes multi-nationals, top tier local companies and public
sector organisations.
He has specialised in organisational change and leadership development
with a significant track record of serving clients in the financial
services sector. He has also assisted a variety of clients in the formulation
of their strategic plans.
Clinton is a mature and natural leader with a well established reputation
for coaching and mentoring senior executives and an entertaining presenter
with considerable experience of addressing audiences on topics relating

Chris Smith

Chris has over 20 years experience as a consultant and business manager
working with a range of industries, including financial services and
telecommunications. His consulting work encompasses the development
of leaders and teams as well as organisation change. As an Associate
Programme Director with London Business School he leads two senior
talent development programmes with international companies in banking
and manufacturing. He is also engaged on a comprehensive change initiative
with a not-for-profit organisation, working with the Executive team
and Board. Other current work includes facilitating leadership development
workshops for a telecomms firm, and coaching the COO of a major sports
organisation.
Previously, as the Director responsible for leadership and management
development at Cable & Wireless Group he set the learning strategy
for the senior population and introduced the first integrated, global
approach to talent and management development. He also led the whole
training and development function through a period of rapid downsizing
and outsource. He facilitated many senior, international leadership
team meetings and events at a time of global transition. For several
years he worked as an internal consultant at C&W, working with
people around the world to facilitate change and improve business performance.
This included developing the coaching skills of the global leadership
population. Earlier in his career he worked with Price Waterhouse consultants,
undertaking numerous organisation change assignments. ^

programmes on collaborative working, and has consulted to several Local

agency learning, working closely with SOLACE to organise and facilitate
action learning sets for Chief Executives and Directors across the
public sector.
As a Senior Associate with Demos, the influential independent think
tank, he published Local authority? How to develop leadership for

Joanna Corr

Joanna has twenty years experience of leadership and people
development consulting, including 6 years with KPMG and 7 years
as Director of Executive Development for a medium sized
consulting firm.
She specialises on advising clients on how best to develop
their leadership population, working in partnership with
internal teams and/or major business schools.
As a facilitator she designs and leads team events for
executives and senior managers, often following mergers,
restructuring or other organisational change. Areas of focus

Angela Steatham
Angela has recently
joined BCG in order to add her considerable experience of consulting
within the Public and Private Sector. She has worked in the field of
Organisation Development for over 12 years, having previously been
Manager of Training and Development for Lloyds TSB. In order to maintain
a good sense of the realities of working within organisations, Angela
holds a Non-Executive Director post within her local Hospital Trust and
is Chair of the Walsall Community Empowerment Partnership Board; both
roles require leadership and an in depth understanding of the challenges
facing the Public Sector and Local Government.

Christine Lloyd

Christine's
current role is as Director of Operations for Cancer Research UK
which entails responsibility for the significant teams and resources
of this the largest UK charity. Prior to this Christine was the Head
of Organisation Development globally for Nokia.
She has had a wide
ranging career in the OD space for organisations such as Shell and Worldcom. Her experience is relevant to organisations looking at
the overall issues of achieving 'shift' through people. She has
strong views on how emergent approaches to change can yield results
and challenges traditional thinking that change is a linear or can
be predetermined.
Christine has been a BCG client for many years and values the
