Certificate in Supervision of Coaches, Mentors and Consultants

The professional bodies in Coaching and Mentoring have been developing policies that all coaches and mentors should have supervision from a trained supervisor, but up to now there have nor been any professional training specifically for the Supervisors of Coaches and Mentors.

Bath Consultancy Group has been providing Coaching and Mentoring since it started in 1986 and have now partnered with the Centre for Staff Team Development, who have been running supervision training since 1979 both in the UK and internationally, in developing this new training leading to a joint certificate from both organisations.

The training has already been successfully launched as a bespoke programme for The School of Coaching in December 2003 and the first open programme started in May 2004.


The first cohort of supervisors finished the Advanced training in March 2005 at the School of Coaching. Course members with Nick Smith and Peter Hawkins.
