Jodie Byrtus - Senior Project Manager
Jodie Byrtus is a Project Manager for Bath Consultancy Group joining the team in 2010, she uses her flexible approach and strong organisational skills to manage a diverse case load of clients across the financial and commercial sectors.
Since joining the team Jodie has taken lead and responsibility for all marketing activities including running masterclass and launch events for new potential clients, she has been a key orchestrator in the company’s social media presence and manages the BCG website. She also looks after the Learning Values Network which is a group of senior OD/HR Professionals who meet regularly to discuss current OD issues.
Jodie has experience of working in the Learning and Development field for both the public and private sectors and uses these experiences to better deliver services to clients. With an academic background in early year’s education Jodie’s passion lies in helping people develop.
In her spare time Jodie enjoys travelling and enjoys visits to family in Mexico.
Chris Preedy - Commercial Manager
Chris is Commercial Manager, covering BCG’s financial performance and planning, and with responsibility for running the Client Support Team. He is the main point of liaison with other divisions of GP Strategies Ltd, and is also involved with our international network of Associates. He joined the BCG team in early 2006 with responsibility for managing the smooth running of a major client engagement, and later moved on to coordinate the financial and professional services sectors within the firm.
Chris took a chemistry degree at Imperial College before taking the plunge into the business world. He has worked for Japanese telecoms multinational company, handling accounts with several major manufacturing companies and ISPs. From the outset, his career has involved virtual teaming and cross-cultural working. He then moved to heading up product development for an anodised treatment process for improving the heat transfer properties of aluminium.
He has travelled extensively in Asia, Latin America and Africa and enjoys running (completing his first marathon in 2011) and spending time with his two children.
Andy Russell - Senior Project Manager
Andy joined the BCG team as a Project Manager in 2010. Andy is in the central orchestrator for multiple Global Leadership programs BCG deliver to two large telecommunications companies. Andy also has several Public Sector organisations and an International Bank on his client portfolio.
As well as Project Management, Andy is a key figure in the Network Liaison Team. Andy and the team work to keep BCG’s ever expanding associate network in close contact with the business. He was fundamental in the creation of the ‘Associate Network Website’, which is an online social space for all associates to meet and discuss project work and share craft.
Andy came to BCG with over 7 years’ experience in the Learning and Development field, and has an academic background in Business. He thrives on new challenges and creating new ways of working to overcome business obstacles.
Outside of BCG Andy works as a Sports Medic for two local sporting teams.
Debbie Watkins - Project Manager
As a Project Manager at Bath Consultancy Group, Debbie is responsible for co-ordinating BCG’s Executive Coaching Service, and manages the global network of highly experienced Executive Coaches, as well as being involved with our wider network of Associates. She also manages projects including virtual learning and organisational development as well as executive coaching for clients across a range of sectors including Professional Services, Public Sector and Not for Profit.
Debbie has a background working in Learning and Development in the motor industry as well as a wealth of organisational and logistical experience across a wide variety of sectors. She enjoys working with people from a broad range of countries and cultures, and the challenges of building and maintaining relationships with a
global network.
She moved to Bath from her home in New Zealand ten years ago to pursue her passion for history and travel. She is a member of the local archaeological society, and is Editor of their annual journal.
Sarah Bates - Senior Project Manager
Sarah joined the BCG team in 2011 with responsibility for managing a major Leadership Program for a new client. Following its success Sarah now handles the accounts of a number of BCG’s Finnish clients, as well as a large public sector organisation in the UK. Her role has taken her overseas where she has enjoyed organising the practicalities of some large events and benefited from working more closely with clients, and program participants.
As well as project management, Sarah handles the administration for the BCG TEAM360 Tool, linked to Peter Hawkins’ 5 Disciplines of high-performing teams model and has recently joined the BCG Marketing team.
Sarah has many years’ experience in organisational and logistical roles and enjoys the variation and challenges that each different project can bring. A languages graduate, Sarah enjoys travel and has lived in different countries.
Alexandra Allen - Administrative Assistant
Alexandra joined BCG in March 2014 as a temporary administrator, helping mainly with the global roll-out of
Barclays coaching programmes. The programme numbers increased so Alexandra was asked to stay longer than her original 2 week contract.
Although she had worked in the administrative field before, this was her first role utilising these skills for a consultancy firm. She is in charge of the logistics for all Barclays programmes, ensuring the smooth running of workshops and optimisation
of practicalities.
Alexandra comes from an audio-editorial background which developed her eye for detail. She recently graduated from an English Literature degree which has aided her progression into the working world, and is keen to experience different working fields, cultures and environments.
Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys being a geek and playing board games, watching movies, any outdoor activities (especially if it involves water) and baking.
Jennifer Rawlings- Project Manager
Jennifer joined the team as a Project Manager in June 2015. Her responsibilities include managing accounts for a number of clients, including a large public sector organisation, where she is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of leadership skills programmes.
Jennifer has worked in administrative roles previously, and comes from a background in the medical emergency sector of travel insurance, which allowed her to develop her organisational and logistical skills. She enjoys experiencing different fields of work, and being able to build successful working relationships, so programmes can be managed as effectively as possible.
Jennifer graduated in 2013 with a degree in French and English Literature, and spent a year teaching English in France. She has enjoyed travelling and undertaking volunteer work in India, and in her spare time enjoys reading and learning languages.
