What made you want to join Bath Consultancy Group?
Having hired Bath Consultancy Group in my role in the Civil Service, and been their client over several months, with several consultants working for me, I realised they were the first consultancy I had worked with, who did what it said on the tin. Everyone I met walked their talk – this was such a refreshing change. They really work in partnership with internal HR and OD practitioners to build in-house capability as an integral part of their work.

What has most struck you since joining the team?
There have been no nasty surprises, how they work with you as a client is how they work together as a team. They value each other, despite being very different, whilst at the same time challenging themselves to improve their value to their clients. I particularly like the blend of academic and practice – client solutions are built on solid ground and they are continually looking to develop their craft.

What is your major role / contribution to the business going to be?
I will be working alongside colleagues in the Strategic Change cluster – together we will continue to develop our expertise in supporting clients to achieve whole system transformational change. I will also be incorporating my research interest and experience in Talent Management, and specifically the Talent psychology of High potentials into Bath Consultancy Group’s leadership offering.

What would you like our clients / colleagues to know about you?
I am happiest when on a boat off the coast of my favourite country, South Africa, and my soul home is North Norfolk – yes I know...about as far away from Bath as I could be! My most important job is being a ‘good enough’ mum to my sons, Rian and Matthew and I love the fact that working for Bath Consultancy Group allows me ‘mum time’ with them, whilst doing interesting and challenging work with great clients.

What would you most like your career with Bath Consultancy Group to be remembered for?
It is rather early in my Bath Consultancy Group career to consider what my legacy might be, but I aspire to help build an organisation where I do the best work I am capable of, where I grow and learn alongside my clients, and where we have huge fun as we do so. I have been fortunate to have had amazing career opportunities to date and I have worked with some incredibly talented people and I look forward to this continuing.
