Jon is an accredited coach (Institute of Human Development, 2003) and coach supervisor (BCG 2009) and practices widely in the field of executive leadership development.

He runs The Ascent Coaching Company, a privately held coaching and supervision business, and participates in a number of other coaching networks.

Jon coaches leaders in the private, public charitable sectors with clients in manufacturing, investment banking, pharmaceutical, publishing and national infrastructure organisations as well as the NHS and the Charity Commission.

In parallel with a long career in publishing and media, the latter half at board level, he has been an associate of The Leadership Trust for over 20 years - where he now directs programmes for senior leaders as well as training and supervising the Trust's coaches.

Jon's work is guided by the principle of helping people to make the most of their talent.  He sets out to make this a supportive, refreshing and enjoyable experience and has, for the most part, been successful in this endeavour.

Jon lives in Hove, East Sussex and works across London and the southeast.
