Director
Nick
is a Director of BCG. He began his career in the construction
industry. After studying for an MSc at the London School of
Economics, he worked for a number of years in the Public Sector.
He has also been a Director of Administration and Organisational
Development with a new campaigning organisation looking for
improvement in the built environment.
He works with organisations across private,
public and not-for-profit sectors. In the public and not-for-profit
sectors, his clients
include local authorities, healthcare services, universities,
police, fire services, social housing companies, national advisory
groups and charities.
He has been involved for many years with senior
leadership programmes and business-based leadership development
in a variety
of global private sector organizations. The focus of this work
is in strengthening the authority, presence and impact of senior
leaders so that they are able to create real shift in the key
staff that report to them, so they in turn can deliver more
effectively for the business. He has worked in various parts
of Europe, the US and South Africa.
Nick is an experienced coach and supervisor
of executive coaching, and has written a book with Dr Peter
Hawkins, for the Open
University, on ‘Supervision of Executive Coaching’,
which will be published October 2006. He is also a certified
Myers Briggs practitioner.
