Rob Schilling has been as a professional coach for the past 20 years. He began his first coaching assignments in a leadership context for a personal development company in the United States in 1985. From that point, Rob has developed his coaching capabilities to include the arenas of leadership, performance coaching, lifestyle coaching, trainer coaching and public speaking, amongst others. He currently coaches executives throughout Asia, North America, Europe and Latin America.
Rob is a trainer, coach and learning solution designer in the field of human resource development. Having worked for both personal and organizational training and development firms for nearly twenty years, he formed a small consulting company of his own in 2002. Together with associates throughout Asia and strategic alliances in North America and Europe, his firm provides training, coaching and consulting services to individuals and organizations around the world.
Customized learning solutions that Rob has provided his clientele include coaching development programs within organizations that are committed to creating a coaching culture. Rob has also participated in the development of professional coaches both directly and through designing programs and coaching clinics delivered by others. The philosophy that Rob holds around coaching is that the success of a coach is measured by the success of those coached.
Rob’s formal education began in California. He then moved to New Hampshire to complete his Bachelors degree in Psychology. He has successfully taken the knowledge of human development and perception and combined them with his lifelong work of contributing to the development of others. These qualities enable him to coach a wide variety of individuals and teams; regardless of industry, culture or background.
Although a native of California, Rob was raised in New York only to return to Los Angeles in his early adulthood. He moved to Hong Kong in 1991 then to Singapore in 1997. His work has taken him to over 25 countries and four continents. His personal and professional history has exposed Rob to a multitude of cultural and organizational nuances. The experience he has gained allows him to adapt and customize a coaching program that suits the individuals, teams and organizations that he serves.
