Joe has been committed to empowering people for more than twenty years.  Prior to working in the fields of personal development and executive coaching, he was successful both as a salesman and consultant to independent insurance agents.  His success in these areas coincided with an opportunity in New York City to make a more significant impact through facilitating leadership programs for a personal development company.  His excellent communication skills combined with his passion for seeing others succeed was a perfect union.

While working with thousands of people over a six-year period Joe developed and expanded his natural gift as a coach.  In conjunction with his facilitation of leadership and teambuilding seminars and direct coaching of the participants, Joe trained, developed, and coached teams of coaches for each 90-day program.  His success in this area generated a demand to become a coach that resulted in waiting lists for available positions as well as national adoption of his coaching methods by the company throughout their 25 offices.

In 1995, having moved to Hong Kong, Joe decided to turn his attention to the development of leadership and coaching for business executives.  As an independent consultant he works with executives of regional and multi-national companies in the sales, education, fashion, manufacturing, interior design, health and beauty, corporate/product identity, and banking industries.

Joe's premise for coaching is "They have what it takes and they can do it."  As a coach, he is a partner drawing out what is already there, giving direction and inspiration. By improving the quality and potency of their interactions they expand their ability to produce specific intended results, both directly as well as through others.  Joe sees a large part of coaching as assisting the client in seeing a wider range of choices, and in this way empowering them to accomplish their own objectives as well as support others in their development. 

In addition to being a leadership/management coach Joe is an accomplished musician with several international recordings.  Joe also holds a black belt in the Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do.  Both the musical/performing arts and martial arts are particularly relevant from Joe's perspective as they both depend on a commitment to mastery, excellence, mentorship, and continued learning.  Joe continues to live in Hong Kong with his wife and when not traveling they spend as much time as possible in their vacation home in Bali.
