María de los Angeles is an experienced organizational development consultant, thinking partner and coach to leaders and teams. For over 15 yrs. she has brought a spirit of curiosity to her workfocused on how people create meaning that leads to committed action at individual, team, organizational, and social levels. Her areas of specialty are whole systems interventions,organizational culture design and renewal, strategic dialogue, leadership and team performance, executive and team coaching.
Her experience as a manager and senior VP of Administration in state-owned companies andtech-oriented government agencies in Mexico provided her with first hand experience in theturnarounds of challenged companies. A deep understanding of the cultural building blocks and leadership skills needed to engage people's minds and hearts while creating value for all washoned as a result. Her subsequent international consulting work has been a valued asset in the understanding of different mindsets and ways of working. She has worked in the US, Canada,Latin America and Europe primarily in the telecommunications, energy and manufacturing industries.
Recent projects have included:
- Design and implementation of a global dialogue process for the Renewal of the Nokia Values linked to the company's new business strategy. Partnered with Nokia and IBMfor the integration of the face to face and technology enabled employee engagement.
- Conducted strategic conversations with multifunctional teams to align processes and roles to the Go-To-Market strategy of Nokia in the Latin American region.
- Organizational effectiveness consultation and coaching to leaders and project teams in business improvement projects at Shell refineries in Canada and Latin America.Designed framework and led the OE process resulting in key business improvement strategies and tactics.
- Consulted to business development for Shell clients in Colombia and Brazil. Built a program for the development of leadership and coaching capabilities for seniorexecutives, and an OE approach to enhance and extend service contracts.
- Strategic visioning and multi-stakeholder engagement process for community foundations of Mexico to build sustainable strategic capability and a national presence within thecountry's philanthropic field. Project jointly sponsored by the Inter-American, Kellogg, Mott, and the Global Fund for Community Foundations
- Led a series of scenario development sessions with multiple stakeholders from Mexico and Central America to shape the possible strategic paths of the Kellogg Foundation insupport of the families in the region in the areas of Health and Wellbeing, Education and Learning, and Economic Development.
She has a MA in Organizational Development and Transformation from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She has certificates from programs in the US, Mexico, and the UK, in actionlearning, collaboration and coordination, and coaching.
She is currently a senior consultant with Integral Collaborations, Inc., and a pioneer member of The World Café Community Foundation. She also holds membership in both the InternationalCoach Federation, and a global network of consultants in collaborative conversations.
