Since 1997 Maria has been working as a coach, trainer and facilitator in Singapore, conducting programs in the following areas: Emotional Intelligence (with special application for leadership and customer service), People-Centered Management, Teambuilding and -development, and other areas of intra- and interpersonal skills. Her work also entails facilitation services to help organisations define their vision, mission, and values, develop implementation strategies and create desired organizational cultures. Maria also specializes in management and talent assessment and –development.
Maria has worked with numerous local and multi-national companies from different areas, such as the service industry, manufacturing, banking and finance, engineering, etc. Clients include organizations such as National University of Singapore, Shell-Seraya Chemicals, Tetrapak, Public Utilities Board, SingTel Telecommunications, Credit Suisse, OCBC, FCI-Areva, StarHub, AIA, Singapore Press Holdings, SAF, with participants from Singapore as well as other Asian countries, Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
She has a Masters in Human Resource Management and is a certified Management Consultant. In 2001 she attended an extensive program to be trained as a Personal and Executive Coach. She is also a certified Life Skills Coach and a US-certified Behavioral Consultant. In 2002 she was certified to use the EQ-I – an instrument to assess Emotional Intelligence.
Maria has international working experience in Europe, USA and Singapore and a strong background in all aspects of business management, particularly sales, marketing, customer service & controlling. She is a Permanent Resident in Singapore and has been living here since 1995.
Previously she worked as a division manager of an international personnel services company, where she was in charge of setting up and managing the company’s new human resource consulting division (focusing on executive search) in Austria.
During that time she also worked part-time for a business and management institute, teaching human resource management and organizational development. Prior to that she worked for two major temporary help suppliers in the United States, hiring, assigning and supervising clerical, technical and light industrial employees.
